Since we moved to San Geronimo in 2013, I've been dreaming about ways to bring more good food to our corner of Marin. We need it out here! In the late summer of 2018, I started a meal pick up service in The San Geronimo Valley. Midway through the year I added delivery "over the hill".

The service is like a CSA veggie box. You subscribe to receive one meal each week, and can opt out if you are away, don't like what is being served on a given week, etc.

The meals are centered around meat from carefully raised animals, fish from "clean" waters, local organic vegetables, whole grains/flours, good fats and lots of flavor. Meals are dairy optional and mostly gluten free (unless noted in advance). Each menu tends to reflect cooking in a different corner of the world.

A bit on my background: I've worked in food for over two decades; in all aspects of restaurants; from some really terrible chains to one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles. I "owned" a collective bakery for four years. I've catered and done personal chef work. Before we moved to the valley, I had a food truck for four years called Vesta Flatbread. The truck had a full hearth oven on the back, where we made pita twice a day and used it to make sandwiches inspired by North African cuisine. I sold the business soon after having my son, a decision that allowed our family to move to the valley.

I've been tossing around ideas for starting a business in West Marin the past several years, while doing a bit of cooking professionally and a lot of tending to my young family. I'm excited to be in a place where I can offer something to the community.
